We’ve all got our own personal super spy- a name who risks it all for their country, consequences be damned. These are the super spies with a license to kill, and to entertain.

Bond- James Bond – It just wouldn’t be a list of top spies without him would it? Can always be found with a martini in hand, a beautiful women in the other hand and q’s finest gadgets, 007 always got the job done with style. People may argue who was the best man to play him, but they never question the characters status as a super spy in the first place. When we think of Spies we think of him because nobody does it better.

Harry Palmer - Michael Caine played this spy. Working on the other side of the world to Bond, Palmers missions were the complete opposite of Bonds- and so was Palmer. With glasses and lacking Bonds class, but certainly not his ruthlessness, Palmer proved himself to be a top spy in his own right.

Austin Powers – the 60′s hippest spy, who was frozen only to be defrosted in the late 1990s to fight Dr Evil and his schemes. A send up of all the great spy movies and spies, he had Bond gadgets, Palmers glasses, and his own unique charm. The mission would be successful, but not without a good laugh or twelve on the way. The Austin Powers movies paid tribute to creator Mike Myer’s favorite spy films and carved out a niche all of their own.

Jason Bourne – It took alot of money and training to make him the best at what he can do, but the Bourne films begin with him close to death and with amnesia. While Bond struggled to adapt to the nineties, Bourne slots in perfectly, blending in with the crowd rather than standing out, but not afraid to hijack a car when need called for it. Tracked by the very people who’d trained him, it was their very training that saved him time and again.
